The MINI-MAX, Ultrasonic Bolt Tension Monitor, defines the state of the art in the measurement of the actual elongation produced by tightening a threaded fastener. The MINI-MAX can measure the elongation very accurately in fasteners of virtually any material from 1/2 inch to 4 feet in length. NetBSD Toaster with the TS-7200 ARM9 SBC

It has long been regarded that the UNIX-like OS NetBSD is portable to every type of machine except perhaps your kitchen toaster. Technologic Systems, however, has conquered this last frontier. Using one of its rugged embedded TS-7200 single-board computers housed inside the empty space of a standard 2 slice toaster, Technologic Systems has designed a functional NetBSD controlled toaster.



The toaster on display now in the NetBSD booth at the LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco, is as high-tech as they come. This toaster features a 4 line LCD, USB keyboard, 10/100 ethernet port and a RS232 serial port for the external console. The toaster's internal circuit boards have been bypassed and routed through the CPU board allowing NetBSD complete control over the toaster's features. A keyboard connects through a USB port on the side of the toaster and the 4x40 LCD displays a NetBSD/toaster login prompt. The burner element is also controlled by the TS-7200 via an internal relay. Unlike previous NetBSD toasters which were nothing more than a glorified PC case-mod, this toaster can actually toast bread!

NetBSD was ported to the toaster by Jesse Off (an engineer at Technologic Systems). When asked details about the week-long effort, he replied, "NetBSD is well laid out for this type of embedded application development. I was most worried about physical things such as fitting the hardware inside the case and the board being able to survive 60 seconds at a time a half centimeter away from an 800 watt burner element. A regular PC can't even survive room temperature without heatsinks and fans, and the TS-7200 has neither." The end-design has no thermal issues and will not let the user toast if things start getting close to the temperature margins of the internal components measured by the onboard temperature sensor.

When asked what he thinks of the NetBSD operating system, Off replied, "Well, I'm skewed. I have been a small-time NetBSD developer on and off the last 4 years. NetBSD's single no-frills high quality source tree is a great starting point for bringing up an embedded application. The API's have a great power-to-complexity ratio and are coded with great wisdom as well as great intellect. For NetBSD though, being wiser is definitely the greater virtue."

When asked what the point of this exercise was, company president Bob Miller chuckled and had this to say: "Well, we're definitely not planning on going into full production with this. The idea was to follow through on a process most of our customers are using everyday in their own embedded designs using our boards. Though customers are not likely using toasters in their designs, they are likely encountering many of of the same issues such as GPIO control of hardware, custom software design/modification and dealing with tight spaces and high temperatures."

So what exactly is inside this toaster for a computer to read/control? For one, there is a small magnetic latch that holds your toast down against the spring action after you press down. To engage that latch, one needs to know when the user is pressing the bread into the toaster which the TS-7200 reads with another sensor. There is a browning level knob (a potentiometer) which the TS-7200 reads with an analog converter input. The front panel also contains 4 bright red LEDs and 5 push-buttons which appear to the system as a 5-key keyboard. The NetBSD LCD driver presents a standard VT100 text mode console that both the USB keyboard and 5-key front-panel are connected.


Technical Details

All peripherals had NetBSD drivers written that allow their manipulation and readback. The interface to toaster hardware uses the sysctl API. sysctl allowed for the easy coding of the toasting finite state machine as a simple shell script. The 4 LED's are configured as PWM style outputs to vary brightness/blink-rate. Temperature is tracked using the TS-7200 onboard TMP124 sensor. This temperature sensor has .0625 degC precision and the kernel driver takes multiple measurements averaged over time to interpolate even higher precision. (the sysctl returns millionths of a degree C) The burnlevel knob is a potentiometer connected to channel 0 of the 12-bit MAX197 ADC which returns a number 0-4096 to the system also via sysctl. The 5 buttons are simple switches that are polled at 64Hz by NetBSD's matrix keypad driver. This driver allows for attachment into the system as a standard keyboard using NetBSD's wskbd API. The 4x40 text mode LCD is a raw HD44780 based LCD available at allelectronics.com This devices uses the bit-banged hd44780 kernel driver which allows attachment into the system as a standard NetBSD wsdisplay. The wsdisplay and wskbd drivers coallesce in the wscons framework to appear to the system as a regular VT100 system console.

A full NetBSD installation is on the 512MB compact flash attached to the TS-7200. This includes self-hosted compilers, FTP/telnet server, ssh client/server, crypto libraries, kernel/userlevel debuggers, and standard UNIX utilities. Apache with PHP is also installed on the TS-7200 and presents some CGI programs to control the LEDs, play music, etc... Since the 4x40 LCD is attached as a generic console, manipulating text files is also reasonably possible using installed text editors, though admittedly using vi on a 4 row text display is not particularly productive.



The toaster itself uses a single TS-7200 plus TS-DIO24 daughterboard for toaster control. Two 48mA output pins on the TS-DIO24 directly drive 2 5V relays with 250V/8A contacts. One relay is used to switch 110V to the burner element and one relay is used to switch 25VDC to the magnetic latch. 25VDC is acquired by tapping off some traces on the stock toaster circuit board after the power supply. All traces from the power supply portion of the PCB to the LEDs and buttons were cut and instead attached to the TS-DIO24 and TS-7200 GPIO pins via small jumper wires soldered directly to the components. A separate, small 5V switching power supply is also placed inside the toaster shell to power the TS-7200, TS-DIO24, and LCD off the same 110V line that comes in through the toaster shell. The TS-7200's USB port, DB9 serial console, and ethernet jack are brought out on jacks on the backside of the toaster. The USB port is then used to connect a small PC keyboard to the system which combines with the 5 key wskbd to control the 4x40 LCD display console. USB speakers are attached through the built-in USB hub on the keyboard to allow playing of MP3's while toasting occurs.

Adding a Huntron® Scanner to your Tracker Model 30 system lets you access components using standard DIP clips and cables, custom cables to PCB connectors or interface to a bed-of-nails.
You can compare one component with another in real-time (64 pins max.) or use your PC to automate testing and scan up to 128 pins.
Huntron Scanners can be used with a Huntron Access Prober to provide Common line connections while the Prober is probing a PCB. This method gives you up to 128 selectable Commons to use. For example, you can connect the Scanner to a connector on a PCB mounted in the Prober using a common ribbon style cable. While the Prober is probing, any one of the lines on the connected ribbon cable can be selected as the Common reference. This would provide you true point-to-point testing capabilities.
Note: The ProTrack Scanner will be replaced by the Scanner II and/or the Scanner 31S effective 1/1/2008. This applies to commercial sales only.

New Automated Near Field Signature Analysis
Combining the Huntron Access Robotic Probing Station, Huntron Workstation Software and the new Test Evolution (TEV) Non-Contact RF Near Field Probe with local synthetic measurement technology sets the standard for Near Field Signature Analysis (NFSA).
Placing the sensor, receiver and signal processing in one compact RF Probe assembly allows the sensing of EM fields emanating from RF circuitry. A specific position in a Near Field is defined as a Virtual Test Point™ (VTP) where a NFSA measurement is made. Identical circuits emanate nearly identical fields at the VTP. The combination of Huntron Prober and TEV RF Probe allows accurate positioning and measurement of VTPs. This provides the repeatability to measure VTP's from 200MHZ to 3GHZ on RF assemblies.
When used for test, an engineer examines the UUT schematic with an eye toward following the RF signal path. Using Huntron Workstation Software, points along that path are selected for Virtual Test Points (VTP). A set of known good boards are then scanned making and saving Near Field signatures at the VTP's. Unknown UUT's are scanned with the same VTP's against the saved signatures. Any deviation against stored signatures indicates areas of concern.
Near Field Signature Analysis (NFSA) is close proximity sensing of EM fields emanating from RF circuitry. Near Fields are close to active circuits with the strength dependent on power and circuit design. AC circuits radiate a unique frequency and magnitude “signature” being a function of frequency of operation, magnitude, distance to the test probe and geometric location of the probe.

Huntron Access USB Probers
The NEW Huntron Access USB Probers are the latest versions of the popular robotic probers used to automate testing of complex printed circuit boards. The Access USB Probers come in two sizes - the Access USB Prober can handle PCBs up to 19.4” by 14” and the larger Access 2 USB Prober can hold PCBs up to 22” by 23” in size. The new Probers come with a USB Probe Tip camera to monitor the probe placement as the test progresses. Both Probers uses linear encoders for incredible 20 micron accuracy. Add Scanning Capabilites to Your Huntron Tracker Model 30 System

Adding a Huntron® Scanner to your Tracker Model 30 system lets you access components using standard DIP clips and cables, custom cables to PCB connectors or interface to a bed-of-nails.
You can compare one component with another in real-time (64 pins max.) or use your PC to automate testing and scan up to 128 pins.
Huntron Scanners can be used with a Huntron Access Prober to provide Common line connections while the Prober is probing a PCB. This method gives you up to 128 selectable Commons to use. For example, you can connect the Scanner to a connector on a PCB mounted in the Prober using a common ribbon style cable. While the Prober is probing, any one of the lines on the connected ribbon cable can be selected as the Common reference. This would provide you true point-to-point testing capabilities.
Note: The ProTrack Scanner will be replaced by the Scanner II and/or the Scanner 31S effective 1/1/2008. This applies to commercial sales only.


Scanner II and Scaner 31S users may want to consider these Optional Accessories to enhance their test capabilities.

The Scanner II accessories for interfacing to your printed circuit board come "ala carte". This means that you select the accessories you want included with your Scanner. 	Ödeme Şekilleri
	Araçlarımızda hasar meydana gelmesi durumunda kiralayan kişi A, B, C, D, E grubu araçlarda 4500 € H, J, M grubu araçlarda 7500 €‘a kadar hasarı ödemekle sorumludur. Kiracının A, B, C, D, E grubu araçlar için günlük 5 €, H, J, M grubu araçlar için 10 € sigorta fonu ödemesi halinde hasar sorumluluğu ortadan kalkar. Lastik yarılmaları, cam veya far kırılmaları, stepne ve radyo-teyp çalınması sigorta kapsamı dışındadır. A, B, C, D, E grupları için 3 €, H, J, M grupları için 5 € günlük sigorta ücreti ödenmesi ile bu tip hasarlar sigorta kapsamına girer. Ancak sigortanın geçerli olabilmesi için; Trafik kaza zaptı ve alkol raporu hemen tutturulması ve 48 saat içinde en yakın ofisine ulaştırılması, Aracın; alkollü, uyuşturucu etkisi altında yada yasal hız sınırları dışında kullanılmaması gerekir. Aksi takdirde aracı kullanan tüm hasarlardan sorumlu tutulur. Sigorta fonunun ödenmemesi ve kiralanan aracın çalınması durumunda kiracı, araç 30 gün içerisinde bulunursa, aracın bulunduğu tarihe kadar olan kira bedelini, araç 30 gün içinde bulunmaz ise araç bedelini ödemekle yükümlüdür. Kiracı dışında aracın ikinci bir şahıs tarafından kullanılabilmesi ancak geçerli kimlik ve ehliyetinin sözleşmeye kaydı ile mümkündür. Aksi halde sigorta geçersiz sayılır. Cilt Bakimi

Bir çoğumuz güzelliğimiz ile ilgili ufak tefek hatalar yapmışızdır? Hatta en kusursuz cilde sahip olduğunu düşündüğümüz insanlar bile bazen sivilceleri ile uğraştıklarını söyler ya da makyajlarını temizlemeden yattıklarından bahsederler. Bu küçük hatalar çoğu zaman kısa vadede pek rahatsızlık vermez fakat uzun süre tekrarlanırlarsa etkilerini yüzünüzde görmeniz kaçınılmaz olur. İşte genellikle yapılan hatalar:

1. Hata
Yüzünüzdeki sivilceyi fark ettiğinizde kendinizi tutamıyor ve sıkıyorsunuz.
Zararı: Dermatologlar hep bundan bahseder; sivilceleri patlatmak uzun vadede daha büyük sıkıntılara ve izlere yol açar. Sivilcenizi sıktığınızda, gözeneği tıkayan her ne ise dışarı çıkar ama büyük kısmı içerde, cildin altında kalır. Ama nedense her seferinde yine de sivilcenizi sıkmak, çirkin bir soruna güzel bir çözüm gibi gelir.
Yönteminizi değiştirin: Bunu yine de yapacaksanız, en azından doğru yöntemle yapın. Öncelikle sivilce ve siyah noktalar için özel tasarlanan metal çubuklardan birini alın. Aleti ve sivilceyi alkol ile silin. Ardından çıkıntıyı yumuşatmak için ılık bir kompres uygulayın (ıslak bir bez gibi). En sonunda çıkarıcı aletin deliği ile sivilceyi aynı hizaya getirin ve tam aşağıya doğru ittirin. Bu yöntemi sadece ucu görünen sivilceler ve siyah noktalarda kullanın. Derin kistlerde kullanmanız onları daha kötü hale getirecektir. Ama her zaman için en iyisi, bir dermatoloğa gidin ve o büyük sivilceyi uzmanın ellerine bırakın; bu sayede bir kaç saat içinde kaybolabilirler. Bir başka sivilceyle savaş yöntemi de yeni bir cihaz. Zeno adındaki bu cihaz pille çalışıyor ve ısı terapisi yöntemi ile sivilcedeki bakteri faaliyetini bitirip, beyaz uçlu sivilceye dönüşmesini engelliyor.
2. Hata
Bacaklarınızı tıraş ederken tıraş kremi yerine, sabun ya da vücut şampuanı kullanıyorsunuz.
Zararı: Tıraş jelleri ya da kremleri, jilete üstünde kayabileceği pürüzsüz bir yüzey sağlayarak cildin kızarmasını ve minik kesikler oluşmasını engeller. Pek çok sabunun etiketinde ‘nemlendiricidir’ yazmasına rağmen, sabunlar cildi tıraş esnasında korumazlar bu yüzden de tıraş sonrasında bacaklarınız pul pul görünebilir.
Yönteminizi değiştirin: Mutlaka kadınlara özel bir tıraş kremi kullanın ama sakın bir erkek tıraş kremi kullanmayın. Kadın traş kremleri cildi dinlendiren ve nemlendirmeye yardımcı olup cildi pullanma ve yara bereye karşı koruyan bitkisel özler içerir. Örneğin bir sonraki traşınızda cildi tıraşa hazırlayan Gilette Satin Care’i tercih edebilirsiniz. Eğer acil bir durumda kalırsanız tıraş kremi yerine saç kremi tercih edin. O bile bacağınızı eski klasik sabununuzdan daha iyi koruyacak ve cildinizin nem dengesini bozmayacaktır.
3. Hata
Siz sigara içmiyorsunuz ama içen arkadaşlarınızla vakit geçiriyorsunuz.
Zararı: Bir başkasının sigarasından çıkmasına rağmen, sigara dumanı cildinizi mahveder. Sigara dumanındaki kimyasallar (karbon monoksit, katran, nikotin v.b.) direkt gözeneklerinize işler. Bu toksinler vücudunuzun hücreleriyle temas ettiğinde ise, cildinizin yumuşak ve dirençli yapan elastinini bozup, cildinizde erken yaşlanmayı tetikleyen ve cildin kendi kendini yenileme özelliğini etkileyen zararlı yapılar oluşturur.
Yönteminizi değiştirin: Sigarasız ortamlarda kalmaya çalışın ama kendinizi bir duman bulutunun ortasında bulursanız da içenlerden uzak durun ve iyi havalandırılan yerlere yönelin (teraslı ya da dışarda oturulabilen bar ya da restoranlar). Eve dönünce de duşa girip saçınızla cildinize bulaşmış artıkları çıkarın. Hemen ardından da, C ve E vitaminlerini içeren antioksidan özellik taşıyan bir nemlendirici kullanın.
4. Hata
Cildinize her gün, hatta bazen günde iki kez peeling işlemi yapıyorsunuz.
Zararı: Evet, ölü hücrelerin atılması manasında cildiniz için yaralı olabilir. Ancak fazlası kesinlikle yarar sağlamak yerine zarar verir. Pek çok kadın baştan aşağa keselenir, gün içinde kimyasal bir dökücü olan alfa hidroksi asitlerini (AHA) içeren losyon kullanır ve gece de retinoid gibi dökücüleri içeren krem sürer. Tüm bunlar, tek bir günde üç ayrı soyma işlemi demektir. Bu işlemler cildin doğal koruyucu lipid yağ bariyerini ortadan kaldırır ve cildin doğal yapısını bozar.
Yönteminizi değiştirin: Kendinize günde en fazla iki metodu kullanacak şekilde sınır koyun. Aynı günde hem peeling etkisi gösteren bir krem hem kese hem de retinoidleri kullanmayın ve kullandıklarınızın da içeriklerini mutlaka inceleyin. Yüzünüz için aşırı ovalama gerektirmeden ölü hücrelerin atılmasını sağlayan ve AHA içeren bir temizleyici edinin. Ardından ölü hücreleri dökücü içeriğe sahip bir gece veya gündüz nemlendiricisi (ama her ikisini değil) edinin. Haftada bir olarak da, rahatlatıcı jojoba özleri içeren bir temizleyiciyle cildinize yardımda bulunun.
5. Hata
Makyaj fırçalarınızı nadiren temizliyorsunuz. Bir tek siz kullanıyorsanız neden uğraşacaksınız ki?
Zararı: Fırçalar, zamanla tam bir bakteri yuvası olabilir. Ve fırçayı temizlemezseniz, bakteri birikimi direkt teninize geri döner. Bütün o bakteriler hastalıklara yol açabilecek şekilde gözeneklere yerleşebilir. Bunun yanı sıra kirli fırçalar makyaj malzemesini kolaylıkla alamaz ve bunlarla iyi makyaj yapmak pek mümkün olmaz. Çünkü kılları birbirlerinin üstüne yığılmıştır. Bu da teninizde ve makyajınızda lekelere yol açar.
Yönteminizi değiştirin: Kiri ve bakteriyi atmak için, fırçaları temizleyici bir şampuanla haftada bir kez yıkayın. Ama bırakın makyaj fırçalarını yıkamayı, ikinci bir kat maskara atmaya bile zamanı olmayanlar için çabuk çözümler de mevcut. Örneğin Clinique’inki gibi anti mikrobik teknoloji kullanılarak probleme kökten çözüm getirmek için tasarlanan fırçalar.
